Sabih, I am sorry, but we can only offer advice for students who are studying English in the UK, as we only sell English language programs. I would suggest that you contact your sponsor (your university or college) to get the correct information. In case this helps, I have here a list of the UKBA approved tests and minimum scores required.

Anand, can you get a certificate from your university to prove your English proficiency? If so, that should be sufficient to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

Jana, we've checked with our Irish schools. The good news is that you won't need an Irish bank account BEFORE your arrival in Ireland. Students will need to open a bank account only AFTER their arrival in Ireland. The school will help them with the necessary paperwork. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hamed,

I would suggest that you contact your college in Oxford about this matter. "C" is definitely on the borderline. Because the IGCSE test is not part of the the list of approved UKBA tests, there is no guidance as to the minimum scores for that test.

Patra, what type of visa did you apply for initially? Did you apply for a Student Visitor Visa and want to change it to the Tier 4 Student Visa? If so, please remember that you cannot change your visa status while in the UK. You have to do this in your home country. If you have not left your home country yet, you may be able to change your visa. Just check with the UK Consulate. But if you're already in the UK. you have to return to your home country to get your visa changed.

Lokesh, your Speaking score is below the minimum of 19, so I would suggest that you retake the test and focus on improving that to increase your chances of getting a visa.
